Levaco was founded in 1967 by two
Antwerp shipping partners, Mr. Lebrun
and Mr. VanderHaeghe.
The company developped itself as a
traditional forwarding company focus-
sing on sea freight business both for
import and exports, offering a wide
range of storage facilities.
When Mr. Lebrun retired in 1987,
Mr. Vanderhaeghe continued solo.
In the summer of 2000 Luc Huysmans joined the management team
to become sole owner of Levaco in January 2003 as the 2nd generation
in 40 years of history. As a result Levaco's position as independent
privately owned logistic provider was safeguarded towards the future.
