The AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certificate offers significant benefits to companies operating in international logistics and trade, particularly in cross-border activities. This enables Levaco to operate more quickly, flexibly and efficiently within customs procedures.
To obtain this status, a company must meet strict requirements in terms of security, reliability and compliance with customs legislation.
To obtain Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status, a company must meet strict security criteria and customs regulations. This includes, amongst other things, a thorough self-assessment in which processes are assessed against potential risks.
In addition, the customs authorities carry out a comprehensive assessment based on both the company’s internal procedures and its track record and reliability. This approach ensures a high level of security, compliance and trust within the international logistics chain.
Imports and exports
Whenever you import or export goods, customs formalities are a mandatory part of the process. Levaco can handle these formalities on your behalf, in accordance with the regulations governing AEO certification.
Customs transit
The Single Administrative Document (T1) applies to goods produced outside the European Union which are located within the European Union and have not been cleared through customs or re-exported.
Tax representation
The aim of the customs service is to monitor the flow of goods entering or leaving the country. This monitoring may focus on aspects relating to security, taxation or other matters.
